Terms of Service

These terms describe your use of PVAlign at pvalign.com, including its learning articles, solar simulator, budget planner, accounts, and paid access. PVAlign is an independent educational project operated by the PVAlign Editorial Team. Contact us at solarsim615@gmail.com with questions about the service or these terms.

1. Educational purpose and real equipment

PVAlign supports learning, comparison, and preliminary planning. Simulations are estimates based on simplified models and your inputs. They do not certify a design, guarantee real equipment performance, replace manufacturer instructions, or provide installation, engineering, electrical-code, or safety approval.

Before purchasing, wiring, permitting, connecting, or energizing real equipment, verify the current manufacturer documentation, site conditions, applicable requirements, and calculations with a qualified professional. AI responses can be incorrect and require independent checking.

2. Accounts and responsible use

Use accurate account information and keep your sign-in methods secure. You must have the authority to make a purchase and meet any eligibility requirements of your sign-in, AI, or payment provider. Contact us if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

Do not use PVAlign unlawfully, interfere with the service, attempt to access other people's accounts or private data, bypass access controls, or submit malicious material. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents, or legal requirements. This does not remove applicable refund or consumer rights.

3. Paid access, price, and manual renewal

The features and payment options are described on the pricing page. Review the amount, currency, applicable taxes, and access period before payment. Sandbox and simulation checkouts are tests and do not activate real paid membership.

The one-month pass is a one-time payment. It does not renew automatically. Access is granted to your signed-in account after payment verification. A verified renewal extends an active paid expiry by one calendar month; otherwise the period starts when access is activated. Your account displays its access expiry.

When the pass expires, paid privileges end and free-plan limits apply. Save an exported copy of important work. Browser storage is tied to your device and browser; purchasing a pass is not a backup service.

4. Paddle purchases and refunds

When available and chosen at checkout, Paddle acts as the merchant of record and authorized reseller for your purchase. PVAlign provides the software and account access. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to purchases made through Paddle alongside these service terms.

Our Refund Policy offers a full refund on request within 14 days of purchase. It does not limit any additional rights under applicable law or Paddle's buyer terms. Contact us if a verified purchase does not activate access; do not purchase again merely to resolve an activation problem.

5. Your content, sharing, and privacy

You retain your rights in the original circuits, messages, and other content you create. Submit or share only material you have the right to use. You allow PVAlign to process that content as needed to provide the features you choose, such as opening a circuit through a share link.

Anyone with a valid share link can view and copy its shared content. Revoking the link cannot remove copies already saved by recipients. The Privacy Policy explains account data, browser storage, shared circuits, AI requests, payments, advertising, and privacy requests.

6. Availability, changes, and support

PVAlign may receive corrections, feature updates, and maintenance, and it may experience interruptions. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free calculations. If a material service problem affects your purchase, contact us so we can investigate access, a remedy, or a refund where appropriate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. Changes do not remove rights attached to an existing purchase; additional notice or consent will be provided where required. Contact solarsim615@gmail.com for support or questions.
